Online and Conventional Poker
Due to the dramatic increase of poker players, the game has reached the world of the Internet. There are significant differences between online and conventional poker, however. One obvious difference is that players do not interact with each other physically. This removes the ability of the gamer to interpret other players’ reactions and body language. Online poker players analyse the game through betting patterns, reaction time, speed of play and other behaviour that is not physical. Another difference is the speed of the game. In brick and mortar casinos, the dealer has to collect the cards, shuffle and deal them after each hand. While in online poker, the dealing and shuffling are automatic. Although there are differences in online and offline poker, the thrill of the game stays the same. Whichever you choose, the important thing is you are composed and having fun while playing.
